The hierarchy within a crew is not often formerly advertised, especially within hip-hop, but based upon viewer and listener assumptions, bosses, underbosses, and capos are identified. Some are recognised based upon their musical impact -
NWA had
Eazy E (boss),
Dr. Dre (underboss),
Ice Cube (capo); some are identified upon their street stature -
G-Unit had
50 Cent (boss),
Tony Yayo (underboss),
Lloyd Banks (capo); while others are a mixture of the two.
Meek Mill is someone who sits somewhere in between an underboss and capo. Reason being is that musically he’s an underboss while his goon affiliations make him a capo. Either way he’s a decorated individual.
Under the guidance of
Rick Ross, the buzz surrounding Meek has been phenomenal. Whether you’re a fan or not, there’s no denying his domineering presence within the rap world over the past year or so. Following his acclaimed mixtape series -
Dreamchasers, which is also the name of his budding record label - the Maybach Music Group emcee's debut album has finally arrived and the time has now come for the boy to prove he’s a man, and the cub to prove he can be King.
As hot as 50 Cent and G-Unit were back in the early 2000’s, 
The Warner Music stable Maybach Music Group may very well be the next great powerhouse in Hip Hop to be acknowledged alongside the likes of Roc-A-Fella, Bad Boy and Death Row. The reason for this isn't the magnitude of hype/output that its leader Rick Ross possesses, its the crew's supporting cast who potentially will bring more than a few numbers to the table when history recalls MMG's glories.
Arguably one of the breakout star of 2011, Meek Mill jumped at the chance to establish himself as a mainstay in Hip Hop, delivering verbal beatdowns as a featured artist and on his own impressive Dreamchasers mixtape, as the 23-year-old Philly young gunner delivers a sequel with more abrasive, young-wild-and-free narrations. 
The American Dream has long been something referred to. Whether it's been theorised, personified or declared as something unachievable, the maxim has become something which will forever remain in America's society. Whilst the common Hip Hop image of wealth, possessions and women has often been described as "living the American Dream," Ohio native and Maybach Music-signed rapper Stalley looks beyond that culture to acquire a meaning of the dream.
