Emerging Spoken Word artist
G.R.E.Ed.S recently released the fifth installment of his Sampler series -
Sampler 5 - which sees the UK-based Spoken Word artist and Performance Poet continue to experiment combining his poetry with some of the most popular music of the time by way of "sampling" (hence the name). On
Sampler 5, he takes on such songs as
Adele's "Someone Like You",
Pusha T's "Trouble On My Mind",
The Throne's "Welcome To The Jungle" and
Seun Kuti's "Rise" amongst others.

Championing emerging lyricists and vocalists from the world of poetry, soul and more with their London live events, Vocals and Verses closed 2012 with The People’s Edition show. Inviting back some of the most popular acts who have performed throughout the year (via an online poll), Great Portland Street’s 229 The Venue was the arena for tomorrow’s potential world beaters to once again perform to a packed crowd. Hosted by comedian Kae Kurd, the night’s lineup of singers and poets was an exceptional mix of underground heroes and potential commercial juggernauts, some of whom provided the brighter musical notes of 2012.
G.R.E.Ed.S (Generating Rhymes to Engage the Enlightened Soul) is a British Nigerian Spoken Word artist from London. Quite well known and well loved within London’s underground live music and poetry circuits, G.R.E.Ed.S has been creating and performing glorious spoken word/music for over three years and it is simply about time this music reaches the masses. 
The bus pulled into Queen Of Hoxton on the evening of Sunday, April 10 to celebrate the launch of rapper AKS' debut EP, The Bus Stop courtesy of Less is More Music in association with Sistova.
An intimate, but sizeable crowd of family, friends, fans and artists (including Young Guru, the sound man behind some of Jay Z's biggest records) came to support the night, hosted by MC and poet G.R.E.E.D.S..
