29 May Prodigy says second book will focus on his time in prison
It's been just over a year since his first book release titled My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, that opened the flood gates to criticism from his peers after being accused of 'dry snitching'. Killuminati P recently told XXL that his second book will only talk about his three and a half year stint in jail from October 2007 to March 2011 for criminal possession of a weapon; an aspect he left out in the first.
Mobb Deep has been a staple of east coast Hip Hop since the early '90s. It’s fair to say that the Queensbridge rappers have had their share of ups and downs both personally and musically. It’s hard to imagine a doper album than The Infamous being put out. Infamy a few years later hit Platinum, but for many Mobb Deep appeared to have peaked as this level of success has never been repeated.
