My favourite empire state boy Prodigy, one half of the infamous Mobb Deep has linked up with Jump Off TV and AllHipHop for a three part web series called The Next 48 Hours With Prodigy. Going behind the scenes during the week of P’s book release of My Infamous Life, this webisode follows Prodigy to Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club with Angela Yee, Charlemagne Tha God & DJ Envy, Simon Schuster’s headquarters, The Source magazine office and ends with a book signing at Power House Arena in Brooklyn with Toure.
We see P touch on what inspired him to write the book after his stint in jail, which gives a whole lot of previously unknown information (some of which has been called this ‘dry snitching’) on his earlier days in rap music and what has shaped him to be the man he is today.
“Get at me, niggas wanna clap me, snitches wanna rat me?/Put ’em right where they back be”
