F—k you, Cee Lo Green is writing a book about himself.
Grand Central Books has announced that they’ve signed the rapping, singing, songwriting, acting, talent-judging showstopper to write an as-yet-untitled memoir to be released next year.
“After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be,” Green said in a statement. “You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As CeeLo Green, a.k.a. ‘everybody’s brother,’ I will make you a believer.”
Green will surely have some interesting tales to tell, as his nearly 20-year career has seen him rise from an unknown Hip-Hopper with a raspy voice and a lot of soul to an internationally respected, Grammy and Brit Award-winning artist with a one-of-a-kind sound and a flair for the dramatic.
Rolling Stone contributing editor David Wild will co-author the book.
Grand Central Books has also published titles for Shaquille O’Neal and Lady Gaga.
