Tyrese takes time out from acting, creating comics and penning books to return to his musical roots and provide his first studio in album in five years -Open Invitation. Released through his own music label Voltron Recordz (distributed by EMI), the comeback project serves as a welcome reminder of the solid R&B the California hailing star first made his name with.

Having made his mark on entertainment with a range of successful ventures across music, film, TV, fashion modelling and even comic books, now Tyrese Gibson plans to break into the world of literary publishing with his first book, How To Get Out Of Your Own Way, due for Hardback and e-book release on April 7th, 2011 via Grand Central Publishing. Designed to motivate and inspire the reader to "reprogram your mind and focus to achieve the life you always imagined for yourself," we're told the biographical title is "filled with every emotion and life experience one could possibly imagine" and pairs "honest and revealing personal stories with reflective questions based on his extremely popular online messages to his 'Love Circle'."
