JETS and Taylor Gang general’s, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa link up for this heat rock, entitled “Huey Newton”. Named after the co-founder of the Black Panthers, Huey P. Newton, this track (which samples “Africa” by US Soft Rock band, Toto) will, no doubt, remind fans of Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s 2009 joint mixtape, How Fly, as well as continue the bubbling excitement for Spitta’s Pilot Talk II. Enjoy…
WHAT WIZ KHALIFA OR CURRENSY KNOW BOUT HUEY P. NEWTON?
If your answer is NOTHING! You’re Right.
THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES……. This is an open letter to Currensy and Wiz Khailfa for disrespecting the name of Huey P. Newton with their ridiculous record “Huey Newton.” People, we can’t allow our hero’s to be dragged through the media mud so this pair can garner some undue glory. What they doing for the streets? If they have a drop of Panther blood in em they should know they have no business using (abusing) a real revolutionaries name in vain. I sent Wiz and Currensy the following letter: Peace. This KING ERIC III (EKG HOUSE). My brothers I humbly appeal to your sense of realness. Give the BBP some bread for tarnishing Huey P. Newtons name they way ya did making a record that was totally against everything he stood for. Do right. KING
P.S. Stand up for what’s right. They should’ve called their record “Clarence Thomas.” It would’ve been appropriate.
this song goes sooo hard. Wiz and Currensy be killin ’em. They the next boy band. can’t wait for wiz’s new album
