Warren G prepping EP with Nate Dogg | Music News

In an interview with XXL, Warren G revealed that an EP featuring he and the late Nate Dogg is almost done and could be released as soon as next month.

The five-song project, titled No One Could Do It Better, will be the first posthumous release of Nate Dogg material. The California crooner died last year due to complications from multiple strokes.

“I might drop it April 17 right after our first Coachella show. If not, by mid-May or June. Shit… I might decide to go hard virally with it,” Warren, who estimates that he has 25 to 30 unreleased Nate Dogg songs in his stash, tells XXL. “I just want to give people that real music again and tell people that ain’t nothing changed. Nate is still here. I got to keep my boy alive.”

The first single is called “A Party We Will Throw Now” and features fellow West Coast rhyme slinger Game.

The EP’s title seems to be a nod to both Warren G’s opinion of he and Nate’s working relationship and to Nate’s 1998 single “Nobody Does It Better” featuring, of course, Warren G.
