T.I. discusses new album Trouble Man: “I’m taking myself out of my element” | Music News

Later this week Erika Ramirez, of Billboard’s The Juice, will publish her exclusive interview with self proclaimed King Of The South, T.I. However, The Juice reporter has revealed that soon after their interview, Tip played her five of 45 tracks that he had recently recorded for his highly intriguing forthcoming album Trouble Man, including a few possible singles.

“I’ll let you listen and you can tell me if I’m on the right track,” T.I. stated before giving Erika Ramirez an exclusive listen to a track that he says “could be dropping as soon as Monday [November 22].”

After previewing his next release, T.I. then discussed a particular song, called, “Pyro” which he hopes to release sometime in the near future; “I have this one record [titled] ‘Pyro’ that I’m proud of,” T.I. told Erika Ramirez. “‘Pyro’ is a straight party record. It’s nostalgic of those crazy nights, early mornings [but] just turned up.” “Pyro” will come after the release of T.I.’s two singles, “I’m Flexin’,” featuring Big K.R.I.T. and “Hear Ye’ Hear Ye’,” featuring Pharrell Williams.

Speaking on the direction and concept base of Trouble Man, the Kang stated “A lot of times I’m taking myself out of my element… This is the first project where I’m talking about things that I’ve experienced before that I’m not necessarily experiencing now cause I’m not doing a whole lot of partying. I do a little bit but not alot… nothing like when I was in that life.”
