Snapshots: Alicia Keys covers Complex Magazine’s December/January issue

Whilst A$AP Rocky’s cover images for”>Complex’s December 2012/January 2013 issue surfaced earlier this week, we get to see who the other half of the publication’s popular double cover is: Grammy Award winning songstress Alicia Keys.

With Keys’ latest album Girl On Fire released later this month – available to pre-order now, the cover story sees the celebrated “I’m Fallin” singer discuss her annual fundraiser for her Keep A Child Alive foundation, Frank Ocean, her collaboration with Reebok Classics and her son Egypt.

With the video for the Nicki Minaj-featuring title track, “Girl On Fire” out now Alicia Keys commented on the creation process of her fifth studio album, saying “Let me just say before making this record, in some ways I felt like a lion locked in a cage… I felt like a girl misunderstood that no one really knew, I felt like it was time to stop making excuses for any part of my life that I wanted to change. Once I made that choice I became a Girl on Fire, the lion broke free!!”
