Rita Ora covers Elle magazine’s ‘Women in Music’ issue

Elle magazine’s new issue is celebrating ‘Women in Music,’ and without much further ado, the pics have been released of their musical cover girl Rita Ora as she shoots two covers showing her playful side in Mickey Mouse ears and her high-fashion best with an oversized pink corsage and a netted veil for the striking covers.

In the accompanying interview, the London-repping singer talks about her love of fashion – and how she won’t let anyone tell her how to dress – as well as her top musical moments that have happened thus far. One of her most memorable moments is in fact her very first, as she talks about being signed to Roc Nation by Jay-Z.

“I didn’t think in a million years that I’d fly to New York to meet one of the biggest music moguls of our time,” she says of her label boss. Making the right decision to sign with them, the young and often animated singer is pleased that she can be who she is, including dressing how she wants.

When asked how she feels about a record label dictating an artist’s style, she was almost horrified at the thought; “That should never be allowed! It’s like somebody telling you what to sing.”

Taking full advantage of wearing exactly what she wants, Ora plays dress up with a rail full of designer goodies as she dons a pink Chanel Haute Couture feathered gown, matched with black, thigh-high peep-toe boots, a strapless, volumised dress by Dior Haute Couture and a floral-painted organza dress by Valentino Haute Couture.
