Being a member of a successful and respected Hip Hop or Grime group is a gift and a curse. On one hand, when its your turn to step up to the mic at live shows or on a track, your adoring fans will probably know your lyrics a lot more than those of your fellow group members. However, when you eventually do go solo those same adoring fans will turn around and ask if and or when you’re getting back with your former group… sometimes you just can’t win.

The same has recently happened to Pusha T, one half of the highly respected Clipse who, ever since the  announcement of his solo deal over at Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music recording label, has has to field questions regarding the future of the Viginia duo with his big brother Malice, who has recently written and released his debut novel Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, and Naked.

In a brief interview backstage at the recent XXL Freshman Live Concert in New York, Pusha Ton, who released his debut solo mixtape, Fear Of God two days ago, stated: “…Like I said, we got a new Clipse album coming too so ya’ll gonna see… Y’all gonna see in a minute. I mean I can’t fuck with him…”
