Pusha T – “Dearly Beloved” Ode To Christopher “Dudus” Coke

I’m not sure how I feel about this. In response to Jamaican drug-lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke surrendering himself and being arrested, Pusha T has rapped an ode over Diddy Dirty Money’s “Angels”.

The situation around the Tivoli Gardens don, including the US government’s attempt to extradite to the subsequent riots has been a very complex one, so I’m not sure if I reckon this tribute is appropriate.  Also, it’s interesting that drug dealers, regardless of their circumstances, often seem to be revered more than more positive figures by the hip hop community – but that’s a whole different post for another time.
