The sad news broke on Saturday that UK soul singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home after her long and well publicised struggle with alcohol and drug addiction, although the official cause of death is still unknown.

Remembering her, Russell Brand reflected on their friendship and her addiction in an emotional tribute, whilst singers Daley and Melanie Fiona paid tribute in two moving cover versions of “Love Is A Losing Game” and “Wake Up Alone,” whilst M.I.A released “27”; a song dedicated to her friends, like Amy, whose untimely deaths happened at the age of 27.

We brought you the first single from the highly anticipated hip hop album release Watch The Throne, in the form of Jay-Z and Kanye West  single “Otis” featuring the vocals of Otis Redding.

Papoose also jumped on the beat and gave it his NY swag, listen again here if you missed it.

On the tail of that, The Game released a baffling diss record called “Uncle Otis” where he takes verbal shots at nearly everyone semi relevant right now, from Jay Z to Marc Anthony. Strange..
