Papoose freestyles over Meek Mill’s “Dreams And Nightmares”

Following on from the release of his The Nacirema Dream album and his impromptu appearance on stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam earlier this year, Papoose keeps his name circulating on the blogs by dropping an impressive freestyle over Meek Mill‘s “Dreams And Nightmares” intro.

Aggressively asserting his status and longevity in the rap game, the Brooklyn emcee delivers bar after bar and also mimics Meek’s quick pace as the beat picks up towards the middle. Even the use of auto tune, which has been incorporated into the middle of the freestyle, doesn’t distract from the fact that Papoose is taking this three minutes and 50 seconds to prove himself as a lyricist that isn’t to be overlooked or ignored. No holds barred.

“It was something about that Summer Jam, when I first stepped on that stage/ Had me feeling like a lion when they first opened his cage…”
