Papoose – “2011 Obituary” | New Music

In my opinion, NY’s Papoose is one of rap’s best lyricists and one of the most slept on rappers when you check his ability on his past records from “Alphabet Slaughter“, “Let’s Play Monopoly” and “Love Is A Battlefield.” He just dropped his annual obituary borrowing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony‘s “Crossroads”, where he pays homage to those who left us in the psychical in 2011.

Name checking boxer Joe Frazier, singer Amy Winehouse, hip hop legends Heavy D and Nate Dogg, Apple CEO Steve Jobs and shouting out to the iconic Gil-Scott Heron, Nick Ashford and more, who all passed away this past year, take a listen to the track below.
