Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” video given epilepsy warning

YouTube has swiftly succumbed although not completely to pressure from UK charity organisation Epilepsy Action to have Kanye West‘s new video for ‘All of the Lights’ banned online, by attaching the following disclaimer notice to the ‘All of the Lights’ video on it’s website:

Warning: This video has been identified by Epilepsy Action to potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

According to reports from Billboard, Epilepsy Action, which provides support for people with epilepsy, had previously released the following statement in hopes that the Rihanna and Kid Cudi-starring video will not be shown online:

“Ofcom regulations mean that this video should not be broadcast on U.K. television. However, the Kanye West video is still available online, most notably on YouTube where it has had several million hits, and no such regulations exist for online broadcasting… Epilepsy Action has contacted Kanye West’s agent, YouTube and other online sources of the video to ask that they take it down.”

The disclaimer notice put up by YouTube seems to have satisfied Epilepsy Action for the moment but having found out that a new version of the video has been created specifically for UK television audiences, the organisation is now seeking for the new version to replace the original version which is still online as a further precaution.
