Just Viv – “The Soul” | Music Video

This may be the first time you’re listening to Just Viv, but hopefully it isn’t the last. Allow this latest output to sway that outcome, as the 22-year-old artist from South London releases the video to his single, “The Soul”.

Linking up (pun intended) with LinkUpTV for the video, his introspective number is handed the nicely polished direction it deserves, which sees Viv recite his impassioned bars to the backdrop of his humble setting.

Not only incorporating his talents for emceeing and singing (on the hook), but he takes to the spoken word method to sincerely detail his story; one that speaks to a whole population of young adults: “See everytime I think to myself that I can’t take music anymore; I’m 21, hardly getting any opportunities, I remember the death of my best friend – he died 18 years young. And I think, what’s the point in wasting time thinking about what I supposedly can’t be, when I could be out there working on trying to be what I want to be?”
