Azealia Banks – ‘Liquorice’ | Music Video

Azealia Banks goes all “Wild Wild West” on us for the latest visual from her 1991 EP.

When Banks initially dropped “Liquorice” late last year, she described it as “a song about interracial dating, but it’s more importantly a celebration of self. A celebration of the confidence, beauty, intellect, and influence of black women.”

The rave-ready beat was jacked from English producer Lone‘s “Pineapple Crush,” and it may tickle somebody’s fancy, just not mine. I can’t get into it, but at least the video’s entertaining. Good job, Rankin.
