Mr. Hudson – “Fred Astaire” | New Music

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard any new solo music from G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Mr. Hudson.

However today that all changes with the release of a new song titled “Fred Astaire”, which was premiered on Mark Ronson’s East Village Radio last night. Having garnered much interest, this now sparks hopes for a new solo project from Kanye West‘s creative go-to-guy.

Sampling Jimmy Ruffin‘s “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted,” the song itself sounds like Hudson’s taken a slightly different direction to the one on his previous album Straight No Chaser and almost feels like something from his Mr Hudson & The Library days. Listen below.
