Mobb Deep & Nas reunite on “Dog Shit” after 10 years | Music News x Artwork

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Excuse my excitement…

After well over ten years of their personal beef documented in such songs as “Destroy & Rebuild”, “Don’t Body Yourself” and “We Wanna Kill You”, amongst many others, legends and fellow Queensbridge natives Nas and Mobb Deep have finally put their issues to rest and have collaborated on some music together and will release a new track entitled “Dog Shit,” produced by Havoc and The Alchemist.

Since 2006 a reunion between the two, who previously collaborated on the seminal Hip Hop classics “The Set Up” (off It Was Written), “Da Bridge 2001” (off Queensbridge The Album) and “Eye for a Eye (Your Beef Is Mines)” (off The Infamous), but never really materialised. In an interview on Baltimore, Maryland radio station Power 92.1, Nas even stated, “I believe in Mobb Deep. I believe that they will prosper even though they say negative stuff. They my little duns. Those are my little babies.”

I can’t front… I’m geek’d at the thought of these two collaborating let alone knowing they have and are due to drop a song together. In a year which has seen Nas and Raekwon get back in the lab together will now see these former feuding legends return to doing what many Hip Hop fans have missed… All we now need is for Nas to be back with Cormega, AZ and N.O.R.E. and the almighty Queensbridge reunion will be complete.

2011 is definitely a good year for Hip hop!
