Lloyd’s King of Hearts LP release pushed back to April

New Orleans-born R&B singer Lloyd has seen the release of his fourth studio album, King of Hearts pushed back a month from March 22 to April 19, according to reports this weekend.

So far the album has spawned two singles from 2010 – ‘Lay It Down’ and the 50 Cent-featured ‘Let’s Get It In’ – with a compilation EP of ‘Lay It Down’ remixes featuring B.o.B, R. Kelly, Patti La Belle and Young Jeezy also set to be released on February 15.

Is it safe to say that Lloyd moved his album back to avoid competing with the release of fellow R&B star Chris Brown‘s fourth studio album, F.A.M.E? Hopefully we’ll get a third single from Lloyd to tide us over until April 19th…
