Latoya Jackson performed Michael Jackson‘s “Earth Song” alongside some Russian musicians and a projected image of the late icon at the Muz-TV Awards in Russia.
Watching this actually really hurt the right side of my brain… I don’t know why but watching Latoya has always had a negative effect on my well-being and constitution, plus this was one of my favourite MJ songs so to hear it sung in this way induced the “Get this woman off stage” program in my mind’s CPU.

I agree that LaToya was great that evening..maybe she did for money, but I think the main idea is that Michael is known in Russia. I`m from Russia and I was on that perfomance, I came there only because of LaToya and she was singing very and very good. but other our singers..well, as for me, they were too bad and too little to sing this song and to understand it
but LaToya did her best!
I think that it was a great performance, BUT could have been artistically extended and created at the end to make the performance more poiant. The song was ultimately Michaels and should have ended with another projection of Michael and his voice. It started with Michael which was so amazing and should have ended with him too. Maybe it would have been nice him saying his Poem Earth Song. I think he would have wanted that as it carries the message over more that he was trying to get across in the THIS IS IT shows.

She does everything for money..the whole family makes money out of Michael even over his grave….it is sooo sad…i wish he was there on stage instead of those digital curtains :((
Nice performance. The projected image was very touching. Loved LaToya’s performance, she is such an interesting and unique lady.
OMG Michael got over all that garbage with his family — stop reading extra headlines into everything…..I think she was great – she is not releasing the song or anything –let it go—she is not trying to make money — please!
She looks a bit overwhelmed thats all – since when has she drawn a crowd like that? Never! But still gracious– one of the greatest things you could do — and Michael knew this– is to forgive everyone for everything. Did he love is sister LaToya? Of course! Did he love his dad? Of course – listen to his speech at Harvard with regards to Joe! Did he love all his siblings – yes!
Pls – cut the whining.
I thought LaToya did a very graceful job and this is one of the best tributes to Michael I have yet seen – it was nice to see him open it up…even with the thick Russian accents – I think it was great! Very comforting for the soul.

Joe’s relationship with his wife & son is irrelevant, the point of having to find out what happened & how much the Estate is making is to assure the rights of Michael’s kids & Katherine. Nothing is being disclosed by the Executors and someone is protecting Murray!
Branca has a history of embezzling money from Michael, the Executors will rape & pillage Michael’s music, image & name with no opportunity for the children to have a say in their Daddy’s legacy. So how can the Jackson family know the children’s rights are preserved when the Executors are not letting anyone know the amount made since Michael’s death! There are many hands in this death.
Thank goodness Joe Jackson is speaking out about the greed, corruption & abuse of Michael’s career, Katherine cannot contest or protest. There’s valid reasons why Joe is pushing for justice & the Executors to expose how much Michael is worth dead and who benefits because of it….he is pushing to disclose TRUTH! Support Joe! GOD BLESS.

She says she loves Michael, but I can’t forget her cruel comments she made about Michael. Comments that I believe must have broken Micheal’s heart. I believe she is exploiting Michael. At least she didn’t try any lead singing.
If Usher sang “Earth Song” I think it would have been out of love and respect. Latoya, well I believe she is trying to use her brother music for her own promotion.
I know there are times when we do things we need forgiveness for but Latoya you hurt Michael so badly dont you get it his fans DON’T LIKE YOU because of what you did to your brother so why dont you ease up a bit and carry your brother Jermaine with you. Seems both of you like a lot of attention. Quit the ME trip it is not working. Where were you when they were ripping MJ apart. I have reservations about La Toya myself, I can’t quite work her out, she says she loves Michael, but I am sorry it does not ring true, I may be being unkind to her but that is what her eyes say. Joy Australia
i agree with you midnight dancer. Latoya seems to be on a mission . or is it that she is so guilt ridden because she if you look at all the damage she did contributed in a large part to MJ’s demise. When you cant trust your own family, that is why MJ wanted nothing to do with them as much as he loved them, and as much as he was willing to keep paying Latoya’s debts. They dont seem to get it. Truth is Latoya you are such a two mouthed person one has a great degree of difficulty believing anything you do or say
