Having teased fans with a snippet from her latest offering “Young & Beautiful,” Lana Del Rey unveils release the full version.
Taken from the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby, executive produced Jay-Z, Del Rey’s strong vocals sound at home over the stripped down instrumental backdrop. Creating a love story with dark tendencies, the song itself sounds like it could well have featured on Del Rey’s critically acclaimed Born To Die album.
With the soundtrack seeing a release date on May 7th, Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby film hits movie theatres three days later on May 10th.
