Joe – “I’d Rather Have A Love” (Dir. Hype Williams) | Music Video

Back to restore balance to the force with “I’d Rather Have A Love”, R&B veteran Joe Thomas bypasses the uptempo club R&B to offer up some grown and sexy music for those craving something for those romantic late nights in.

Sharing the advantages of monogamy, Joe steps up to the plate to educate the fellas on finding love and the adjustments that come with it. While at times the song makes it sound as if Joe is saying grab someone, anyone in fact, before it’s too late, the sentiment is there and it’s always nice to hear some of that delicately expressive R&B that seems to get lost commercially in the mix these days. The song will feature on Joe’s upcoming album Double Back: The Evolution Of R&B, due out this summer.
