J. Cole’s ‘Born Sinner’ album release date pushed back

Roc Nation’s J. Cole brought in the new year surrounded by his adoring fans as he hosted a new years eve bash at TAO nightclub and although 2013 came in with a bang, he’s set to slow things down a bit with his sophomore album release Born Sinner no longer coming out on the intended January 28th release date.

Speaking to PopStop TV the North Carolina native revealed that there’s been a delay on the release and it would not be ready in time for Jan. 28th, which also marks the young rapper’s 28th birthday. “It’s gonna be a little later than that. I needed more time,” he explained.

So Cole fans will have to wait a little longer for the full release, although no new official date has been announced yet. Until then hopefully we’ll get another single drop to follow on from “Miss America.”
