Drake reveals Take Care details: track titles, Rick Ross + Lil Wayne features and more | News

Not so arguably one of hip hop’s biggest stars right now, Drake sits down with Rolling Stone to discuss his highly anticipated second album Take Care, set to be released October 24th. “With this album, I want to tell a whole story, I don’t want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that.”

Describing himself as “disconnected” during the making of his first album, Drake takes pains to approach his second album in a more deliberate way, more carefully piecing together lyrics the likes of those found in his much-loved breakthrough mixtape So Far Gone. “The whole process has been about slowing life down and really pinpointing emotions.”

The Canadian rapper played Rolling Stone several songs including “Shot for Me” produced by Shebib, “Free Spirit” featuring Rick Ross, “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real” and “The Real Her”featuring Lil Wayne.

He also mentions he will be collaborating with The Weeknd as previously confirmed, as well as Florence from Florence and the Machines and the xx‘s Jamie Smith (if he gets his wish. But why shouldn’t he.).
I’m excited. Wake me up when September ends.
