DOOM, Madlib + special guests at HMV Forum, October 12 | Event Preview

London will be getting a taste of some of the finest underground hip-hop from both US Coasts this Autumn. On October 12th, the mask-bearing, Long Island, New York representative DOOM (formerly known as MF DOOM) and the sublimely talented producer outta Oxnard, California Madlib will be embarking on the HMV Forum for what has been dubbed “the Hip Hop Show of the Decade”.

Although the two headliners have previously and famously collaborated – crafting the widely-acclaimed Madvilliany album in 2004 under the Madvillain moniker – they will be playing separately. Before DOOM takes to the stage, Madlib will be treating the crowd to his Medicine Show live for the very first time in the UK, accompanied by CTE-singer rapper Freddie Gibbs and Beatnuts DJ J Rocc.

Also guesting at the event will be Jneiro Jarel, Dels and UK’s own Jehst, while Kutmah and Illum Sphere will be spinning. See below for the full scoop. This sounds like an opportunity not to be missed for any passionate hip-hop head!
