DJ Khaled, Scarface, Nas x DJ Premier record ‘Hip Hop’ | Behind-The-Scenes Video

Star-studded collaborations are a given on DJ Khaled albums, but one item in particular which had mouths salivating on the recently-unveiled tracklist for his upcoming Kiss The Ring album is “Hip Hop”, featuring Scarface, Nas and DJ Premier, and produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E League. In response to the excitement for the record, Khaled releases this extended clip, which gives fans a look at the making of the song.

Over 8-plus-minutes below, we get to hear insight on the song from J.U.S.T.I.C.E League’s Rook, Scarface, long-time hip-hop journalist Shaheem Reid, Jadakiss and Khaled himself, who talked the usual salesman-like talk.

“This record is gonna speak for itself – it’s serious,” he claimed. “I hit Nas and I was like, ‘Yo, we can’t do nothing to the record, there’s only one thing we can do now – I need you to ask Premier [to scratch on it], and Nas hit me back like, ‘Yo I’m loving the idea’…DJ Premier, DJ Khaled, Kiss the Ring.”
