After parting ways with Kiss FM after 22 years “Due to their continued marginalisation of reggae music”, acclaimed reggae specialist and tastemaker DJ David Rodigan MBE will return to the airwaves in February with a brand new prime-time Sunday show on BBC Radio 1Xtra bringing listeners the best in classic Reggae alongside some of the freshest music from the genre.

Fans of the legendary pioneering DJ will have plenty of reason to celebrate in 2013 as not only will the new show kick off weekly on February 17th, airing from 7-9pm, he will also be returning BBC Radio 2 in the summer for a 13-part series of his award-winning show celebrating roots and reggae music from the classics to the present and its future.
