Consequence – “Career Killer” (Pusha T Diss) | New Music

*Sighs* Former G.O.O.D. Music emcee turned G.O.O.D Music arch-enemy, Consequence is back with a new joint once again takes aim at his former record label but more specifically at Pusha Ton. The track produced by Moss, is now available to purchase on iTunes, and will feature on the third installment of his Movies On Demand mixtape series.

To be honest with you… I really didn’t want to wax lyrical about this track, its content and its artist but I feel that something needs to be said. I think Cons is bordering on delusional. At this present moment in time, he is starting to resemble the types of faux bullies at school who picked on other kids just to get attention. When said bully wasn’t given the attention they craved, by their main and most obvious target, they’d quickly move on to someone else. Ye’ pretty much ignored this guy, giving him no choice but to put all his eggs in one basket and take aim at Pusha. Yes he may have had a little previous problem with the Virginia proud rhymer, over one or two bars he felt were stolen from him, but we all know that his main gripe was with Kanye.

Career Killer by Consequence by Consequence

Career Killer!? I think not… Kanye West is, I’m sure, at the top of the world right now. His has just released one of the most revered (and talked about) bodies of work with a man who is a living legend, which was number one in 23 countries, he recently signed a huge joint venture deal with the historic Def Jam record label, his artist Big Sean , who just released his debut album, is going from strength to strength and God knows what else in the coming months. Pusha? Well his is signed to G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam, he is about to drop the highly anticipated Fear Of God: Let Us Pray via an independent deal with highly respected Decon Records and G.O.O.D Music/Re-Up Gang Records. Ohh and the official video for “Trouble On My Mind”, featuring Tyler, the Creator has got over one million views on Youtube. “Career Killer” is an okay track, but Cons will have to try harder… a lot harder than that to kill Pusha T’s career, a man who as part of the Clipse (arguably) released two classic, timeless Hip Hop albums back to back.

G.O.O.D Luck Cons…
