Bridget Kelly f/ Kendrick Lamar – “Street Dreamin'” | New Music

Blessed with a verse from the recently crowned MTV Hottest MC In The Game, Bridget Kelly teams up with Kendrick Lamar on the soulfully gripping “Street Dreamin’.”

With a tilted-to-the-pop-side sample of 2Pac‘s “Got My Mind Made Up,” which featured Method Man, Redman, and Tha Dogg Pound; taken from his All Eyez On Me album, Kelly’s vocally dominant version is executed with some seriously supreme hip-hop precision. Starting his rhyme, “Take a trip with a narcoleptic, suffer insomnia but this time it was only seconds,” Kendrick hits listeners with the type of complexity that is expected from the new west coast saviour. With some stern drum patterns and vocal effects, “Street Dreamin” is dope.

To be featured on both Kelly’s upcoming Roc Nation debut and Funkmaster Flex‘s soon-to-be-released Who You Mad At? Me or Yourself? compilation album, peep the track below.
