Beastie Boys f/ Nas – ‘Too Many Rappers’ (Urban Noize Remix) | New Music

Production duo Urban Noize return with another timely treat. In tribute of the recent passing of Beastie Boys emcee Adam “MCA” Yauch, the pair reinvent the Beasties’ joint track with Nas, “Too Many Rappers” (taken from the 2011 LP, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two), lacing the audio with a James Brown sample before employing Gorillaz‘s “Dirty Harry” as the backing beat. This one’s strictly for the hip-hop heads.

Having exclusively previewed “Forever West” here on SoulCulture last week, Urban Noize are prepping another full-length remix project with the Kanye-powered Mr. West, that’ll look to join the ranks of previous acclaimed releases like Brookly.Chicago.London. and Project R.
