Philly MC Beanie Sigel and the legendary Scarface have shown great chemistry on tracks like “Moms Praying,” “Mac And Brad,” and the Jay-Z-assisted “Guess Who’s Back,” and now the streetwise duo will combine forces for an entire album, DJ/producer Statik Selektah has announced via Twitter.
Man, i was just on the radio with Beanie Sigel & Scarface announcing they are doing an album…. Mac N Brad album coming…. #HipHopMoment

The Mac ‘N Brad title refers to one of Sigel’s aliases, “B. Mac,” and Scarface’s government name, Brad Jordan.
The album will be the first official release from either artist in a matter of years. Sigel’s last project was 2007’s The Solution, lead by the single “All the Above” with R. Kelly and featuring the standout track “Gutted,” while Scarface has been relatively quiet since his solid 2008 project, Emeritus.
Both MCs have dealt with recent legal issues — Scarface was released from jail in August 2011 after serving 10 months for failure to pay child support while Sigel was in court late last year facing charges of tax evasion — but seem to have worked them out well enough to collaborate on a full-length project.
Music from these two kindred spirits has always been well-received, so Mac ‘N Brad is likely to be a quite satisfying listen. A release date has not been announced.
