Melanie Fiona also shared her admiration of the “diversity and realness” of the UK music scene, from Lily Allen, Adele, Amy Winehouse and Estelle to The Beatles and lovers rock legend Janet Kay (whose “Silly Games” classic she sampled on “Sad Songs”) –
She does know that Roberta Flack’s version of ‘Killing Me Softly’ is a cover as well, doesn’t she?
