DJ Whoo Kid on new Dr Dre track "Back Against The Wall" + forthcoming Dr Dre Mixtape | SCTV


While in London Town to kick off his Live Base club tour with the Grime Godfather Wiley, SoulCulture TV caught up with DJ Whoo Kid at the Dope Chef showroom and he revealed that he would be premiering a brand new Dr Dre track today (November 5th) called "Back Against The Wall" which will be taken from a forthcoming mixtape by the latest aftermath signing Slim The Mobster. Describing the record as "Some hardcore shit, NWA type feel, like he's back, he's calling out haters...fuck y'all, no more Mr nice guy type ish", it will premiere on The Whoolywood Shuffle co-hosted by MTV's Sway on Sirius XM.

The G-Unit repping DJ and radio personality also revealed details on a forthcoming mixtape he will be creating with Dr Dre later this year which will possibly feature Snoop Dogg and some more of Dre's old school collaborators. Watch the interview below.

After dismantling the best and most popular BET Hip Hop Awards 2011 cypher alongside his Slaughterhouse and Shady brethren (watch here), Joe Budden returns with some brand new music. "Why Would I" produced by The Klasix sees the seasoned MC deliver solid thought provoking bars over the driving drum lead beat, leaving us with no doubt that Budden was and is a force to be reckoned with in the booth.

Slaughterhouse - “The Illest” | New Music

So, after Shady 2.0 tore down it down with the their recent BET cypher Slaughterhouse - Shady Records' hip hop supergroup consisting of Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9" have wasted no time hitting us with a new track entitled"The Illest" courtesy of Funkmaster Flex, where they borrow a lick from The Notorious BIG on his collaborative track "Think Big" with Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard and Lord Tariq.

For anyone that's been sleeping on Slaughterhouse.. you might want to wake up NOW.

In the first part of Hardknock.TV's interview with Joe Budden, Royce Da 5"9', Joell Ortiz and Crooked I collectively known as Slaughterhouse, they speak about the forthcoming new album, incorporating more introspective and personal material into their group projects, their relationship with Eminem who signed the group tho Shady Records, their labelmate Yelawolf and Joe Budden's love of Odd Future member Frank Ocean's "Novacane" (in the interview Joe said he probably wouldn't jump on the track because Frank's fans wanted him to leave it alone, but yesterday he flipped the track into the emotional "Ordinary Love Shit Pt. 3").
