Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire - "Lost In Transition" | New Music

Fresh off breakin' necks (read: hectic touring) and cashin' checks (read: chasin' checks), Brooklyn-bred, Universal Records-signed emcee Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire gifts a new joint for us with "Lost In Transition". The grimy, crawling number was recorded with producer Mike Jaxx back in January upon a trip to Chicago.

Although MMF has two EPs in the works, this track will feature on Ruby Hornet and MTV 2 Sucker Free's Closed Sessions Vol. 2 compilation, due out August 30th.

SoulCulture x DDotOmen present: Amanda Diva – Madame Monochrome (FreEP)

Breaking a two-year hiatus following 2009's Spandex Rhymes & Soul, US emcee, singer, presenter, host and artist Amanda Diva releases her latest EP, Madame Monochrome; inspired by her recent trip to Europe - and today presented to you by SoulCulture and our blogging comrade across the pond, DDotOmen.

Keeping busy hosting shows, painting art [which she sells here], developing a TV show and speaking at US colleges among other things, Diva stepped back from music for a minute out of frustration "with America's obsession with image over artistry and money over musicality." But a recent trip to Europe to perform in Berlin and Paris showed her that there is still a world that appreciates true artistry... Renewed, she came back to the states, got back on the mic, and found her way to Madame Monochrome.

Alongside the project's Ski Beatz-produced single, "Manchild," Madame Monochrome also features production by James Poyser, Droop E, Cook Classics, Haydn, BlacSoap, Ruby Hornet, Asahi Suzuki and BDK. Preview and download the 10-track EP below, with an additional promo video for "Trendsettas".

CyHi Da Prynce: Low Points (Video)

G.O.O.D Music artist Cyhi Da Prynce who is making a major name for himself right now speaks Ruby Hornet about the lower points in his life.

CyHi Da Prynce appears to be on top of the world right now. His fanbase is growing steadily. The Atlanta emcee finished 2010 with a roster spot on G.O.O.D. Music, guest appearances next to Kanye West and Jay-Z, a critically acclaimed and fan-adored mixtape, and a renewed interest in his music from label executives and marketing teams that at one point had written him off.

See, it wasn't always sunny for CyHi Da Prynce. While he is making his way to the top of the mountain now, as he says in this new video, he definitely had his share of low points. Find out how things were just a short time ago, and why he feels Kanye West has already done more than enough.
