Tyler, The Creator - "Tamale" | Music Video

tylertc-tamale-video

Tyler, The Creator delivers his latest creative visual masterpiece to accompany the track "Tamale", lifted straight from his latest Wolf LP.

The Odd Future front-man once again also takes up his seat in the director's chair under his pseudonym Wolf Haley to create a typically helter-skelter music video, as we are kept entertained by angry large domestic cats, some amateur golfing and swimming pool stunts, as well has Tyler using model Bria Myles' derrière as a trampoline.

The hectic, percussion-heavy track is also produced by Tyler and sounds like something a little influenced by The Neptunes. The mood of the track mellows out towards the end, as we see Mr. Pharrell Williams playing the drums alongside the guitar-playing OFWGKTA member  Lucas Vercetti as Tyler has a few choice words for his father.

Peep the full video for "Tamale"below.

Keeping momentum going, Tyler, Earl, Hodgy and Domo Genesis deliver a brand new cut titled "Look".
Produced by Nottz, this 4:22 minute freebie isn't attached to a particular project but this could hint to another Odd Future collaborative album in the works. (I wonder what the current status of Frank Ocean's channel Orange follow-up is). Listen and download "Look" below.

Pyramid Vritra - "Delta" | Music Video

hqdefault

Odd Future affiliate Hal Williams a.k.a Pyramid Vritra has just dropped the visuals for his track "Delta," taken from the Jellyfish Mentality: Bonus EP.

Having been recently signed to Stones Throw Records, Vritra connects label-alumni J Dilla with "Delta"'s dragged back, tripping drum beat and minimal bassline foundations. His slurred, nonchalant delivery also brings to mind fellow Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt and both elements of lyrics and production combine to create a continuous flow of words and sounds that put you in a head-nodding trance. The video is a monochrome subtitled affair, shooting a girl going through her morning routing before switching to some colour footage of Williams himself delivering the rest of the track.

Check it out below and look out for Pyramid Vritra’s upcoming project, Big Ralph’s Midnight Pink River Weather Grey Out which will see a release on August 27th.

Earl Sweatshirt f/ Frank Ocean - "Sunday" | New Music

doris

Not gonna lie. I'm super excited and curious to hear Earl Sweatshirt's debut album, Doris and that feeling has greatly multiplied with this latest release, "Sunday," on which Earl brings fellow Odd Future member Frank Ocean along for the ride. While you might be expecting some sweet vocals from the singer, Frank Ocean actually contributes with a rap verse and a very specific Sunday reference.

"I mean he called me a f**got, I was just calling his bluff. I mean how anal am I gonna be when I'm aiming my gun. And why's his mug all bloody that was a 3 on 1. Standing ovation at Staples, I got my Grammy's and gold," says Frank on the mic. If that sounds familiar, then you might remember a certain Chris Brown altercation which ironically also happened on a Sunday.

Expect to hear more from the honest mind of Earl Sweatshirt when Doris drops August 20 but for now, stream "Sunday" below.

Mike G ft. Left Brain & The Internet - "Lincoln" | Music Video

Lincoln

Mike G and Left Brain star in "Lincoln," a new music video from the Odd Future camp in support of The Internet's debut album, Purple Naked Ladies.

Mike plays the cool guy that rides around in a black vintage Lincoln with his girl in the passenger seat and Left Brain plays a street bully. The video's storyline turns sour when the leading lady ignores a phone call from her father. In order to teach Mike G a lesson, Left Brain throws Mike out of his own set of wheels and jumps in the driver's seat of the Lincoln, never looking back.
