Jay-Z x Kanye perform 'N---as In Paris' at Hackney Weekend [Video]

Apparently, Kanye West's failure to appear during Jay-Z and Rihanna's "Run This Town" performance at Hackney Weekend doesn't mean the Chicago-rilla wasn't in the house. Yeezy joined his fellow Throne member on the festival's main stage for their frenetic (and ubiquitous) single "N---as In Paris," damn-near causing the Hackney Marshes crowd to break all their necks at the same time. (We see you out there, B!)

Of course, they performed the song repeatedly. Anything else would be un-Throne-like. Read more

Katy Perry covers Jay Z and Kanye West's "N*ggas In Paris" for Radio 1's live lounge [Video]

"This is about to get real embarrassing," uttered world-famous pop superstar Katy Perry earlier this morning at her BBC Radio 1 live lounge session, just before she launched into a live cover version of The Throne's world smash hit "N*ggas In Paris" from Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album Watch The Throne.

Embarrassment was nowhere to be found as I think she did a great job with her re-interpretation. Watch the performance after the jump. Read more

Yasiin Bey performs "N****s In Poorest" in Paris [Video]

Re-hashing The Throne's epic hit in quintessentially conscious fashion, Yasiin Bey (who we will always affectionately know as Mighty Mos Def) flew out to the French capital to perform his cover of "N****s In Paris"... in Paris.

Stopping by on Radio Nova, the emcee treated French airwaves to a live performance of his "N****s In Poorest" version, simply in a desk chair and with his trademark retro mic in hand. Fitting it would seem, as you'd have reason to call irony on a paid show for a song highlighting social hardship.

Just in case you were thinking Yasiin was taking shots at 'Ye and Jay, Young Guru will tell you the trio are still cool.

The Throne, comprised of Jay-Z and Kanye West, made their way onto the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to perform their hit single "N*ggas in Paris," while a pregnant Beyonce was spotted in the audience cheering on her husband. How amazing was that slow-motion shot of Hov & Ye commanding the audience to wave their hands though?!

Kanye also took the stage by himself to perform his hit "Stronger," while models strutted along the catwalk. The two are currently still on the road for the Watch The Throne tour.

Will Ferrell on being sampled on JAY Z and Kanye West's "N!ggas In Paris"

Actor and comedian Will Ferrell sat down with MTV recently, and discussed how he felt about being sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West as part of a short-but-hilarious interlude during Watch The Throne's "Niggas In Paris".

Kanye reached out to me and I said, ‘Of course’ I was completely flattered when they asked if they could sample me into the song … and when I heard it for the first time, I just started to laugh because it felt so surreal. But I really did like the song.

We were trying to film a piece that they would use on the video boards of their concert, but haven’t gotten it together — and the whole process has opened his eyes to an entirely new career opportunity: Being the go-to sample guy on the hip hop circuit. I think [something from] ‘Step Brothers’ would be good [to use in a song]. Or the Woody Allen movie I did, ‘Melinda and Melinda.’

Forget those other films, Anchorman is the guy with the bars.
