Snapshot: Daft Punk unveil album title 'Random Access Memories', cover art x release date

Since their cryptic ad commercial that was aired during an episode of Saturday Night Live, Daft Punk fans have been waiting on tenterhooks for this exact news, as it was confirmed today that the electro duo have a new album on the way called Random Access Memories.

The news was announced with an album name, cover art and an expected release date of May 21st. This will be the French duos first album release since the 2005 album Human After All, and their first since leaving EMI as the new project will be distributed through Columbia Records.

According to iTunes, the record will have a total of 13 tracks, although no songs names have been revealed just yet, but keep your ears on alert for some exciting new music from them.
