Misha B – ‘Home Run’ (Tobi ShyBoy Remix) | New Music

Already having worked with the likes of UK rappers LionessBigz and UK vocalist Cherri V (just to mention a few), 19-year-old producer, remixer and keyboardist Tobi ShyBoy is already the talk of the urban underground.

His remix of Misha B's chart hit "Home Run" is making its rounds online, and his version -- infused with club synths and dancehall-esque drums -- is just a basic introduction to what he is capable of as a multi-genre producer.

The original, created by songwriter/producer MNEK, boasts an energy that Shyboy has managed to match. With high-end remixes like this, continued exposure and expansion of his music catalogue, he could very much be another young Labrinth in the making.

MNEK: Get Familiar

Having been highlighted as one of the “20 hottest producers in music right now” by the good folks at NME, nominated amongst The Guardian’s “10 of the next generation of young music producers” and worked with massive stars such as Tinie Tempah, Frankmusik, Olly Murs, The Wanted and The Saturdays (he co-wrote and co-produced their current single “All Fired Up”) - all before even writing his GCSE exams - I guess it would be safe to say that 17-year old British Nigerian singer, songwriter, remixer and producer MNEK (real name Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike) should be on all of our radars.
