Drake f/ Beyonce - "We All Love Beyonce" (A JAYBeatz Mashup) | New Music

we all love beyonce

It's been a few days since Drake released the Destiny's Child "Say My Name"-interpolating "Girls Love Beyonce" so it's no surprise that such a heavily talked about song is getting the remix treatment left, right and centre.

We've heard our fair share of avoidable versions, but thankfully today brings us something good in the form of producer JAY Beatz's offering "We All Love Beyonce".

The 20yr old producer gives us a taster of what a Beyonce and Drake collaboration would sound like with this seamless and creative mash-up, even managing to incorporate a piece of Beyonce's song "Yes" the end. Good stuff.

You can stream or download the mash up below.

The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy x Ma$e vs. M83 - 'Mo Cities Mo Problems' (Carlos Serrano Mix) | New Music

After what we can assume was most of Christopher Wallace's previously-recorded verses being utilised for the two posthumous releases, 1999's Born Again and Duets: The Final Chapter in '05, we're pretty much left with remixes of existing material to satisfy our thirst for new Biggie. I can only imagine that there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of mash-ups, mixes and everything in between swanning the YouTubes as I write, but not many match the cohesiveness, intrigue factor and pure balls of Carlos Serrano's, which blends rap's greatest with electronic outfit M83.Read more

Clipse vs. The Doors - Keys Open Doors [Mash-Up Album] | Stream x Free Download

Good mash-ups are hard to find, particularly in this internet age where everyone and their Auntie are SoundCloud DJs. Christopher B. and Frankie P have learned the very rule of thumb that The Neptunes have lived by over the years: anything with Pusha T and (No) Malice spitting over it makes good music. Especially when its material from The Doors backing those coke rhymes.Read more

Gummy Soul presents Fela Kuti x De La Soul - Fela Soul | Stream x Free Download

Late pass on this one... It's been sitting in the SC drafts for over a week now, but I had to make sure we shared this piece of dopeness with you guys.

The good folk at Gummy Soul crossed some of the best creations by the afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and with some classics from rap pioneers De La Soul to bring us this incredible mash-up tape entitled Fela Soul. Created by Gummy Soul artist Amerigo Gazaway, the 8-track, 33 minute tape blends afrobeat rhythms, funky horn riffs with some classic hip-hop gems into something well worth listening to on repeat.

“I came up with the concept for this project in fall of 2010. I wanted to follow through with it not only because it was a good idea, but because of the powerful impact both these artists have had on me and my music. Afrobeat, jazz, funk, and hip-hop are already so interconnected, and I always thought it would be exciting to work on a project that combined all of these elements together.”

“I hope this project will help to bridge the gap between hip-hop and afrobeat, and serve an introduction for hip-hop fans and music fans alike who are unfamiliar with Fela Kuti or De La Soul’s music.”

-Amerigo Gazaway
