Skepta feat. JME - "That's Not Me" | Music Video

Recently released short film “That’s Not Me” signalled the return for the 'king of grime' Skepta, and now Joseph is back today with the full track and visual for the JME and DJ Maximum assisted piece.

Maintaining the archaic format of the short film, the visuals take us back to VCR crackles and poorly fabricated green screens for what is a throwback to Lord Of The Mics-esque days. The eskimo sounding beat was produced by himself serving as a preview to what is hopefully to come from his upcoming album, Konnichiwa, which is set to drop later this year.

Kozzie f/ JME - "I'm Grime" | Music Video

Teddy Music has another potential Grime hit on his hands with the suitably-titled "I'm Grime", as helmed by Kozzie and his guest, JME. The host MC brings that same brand of fierce lyricism and unabashed braggadocious, packing his verse with countless boasts before asserting his status on the scene in the hook: "I'm Grime, I been doing this for time." Meanwhile, the Boy Better Know boss balances out the attitude with some assured, yet typically humerous, bars.

The accompanying clip, which you can watch below, captures both rappers' cadences to perfection, with Kozzie keeping it cool in expensive threads (that Gucci belt is worth a mention), while JME scoots around on those rollerblades of his.

"I'm Grime" is out now on iTunes.

Wiley f/ Skepta, JME x Ms. D - "Can You Hear Me (Ayaya)" | New Music

Wiley and Rymez make for a lethal combination - and Eskiboy realises this. Coming off the success of their recent No. 1 single "Heatwave", the prolific Grime emcee and the London-based producer cook up more potentially chart-topping product with "Can You Hear Me (Ayaya)".

The track makes a more obvious attempt at imitating the currently "hot" dance sound, which plays to Ms. D's (who also featured on "Heatwave") singing strengths, while the beat progresses to a more dancehall vibe for Wiley, and Boy Better Know brothers, Skepta and JME's verses.

You can stream "Can You Hear Me (Ayaya)" below, as premiered by DJ Target last night (August 24th). Let's see if Wiley can help score the Adenuga brothers their very first UK No. 1 single!

Elro f/ JME, Manga - 'Scrabble' | Music Video

It's his "Scrabble" cut featuring Boy Better Know figurehead JME and Roll Deep emcee Manga that gets the visual transformation with a slick - and fitting - stop motion clip using a Scrabble board.Read more

JME - 'Murking' (Prod. Preditah) | New Music

The "quality over quantity" ethos is rarely adopted among today's artists, especially considering the pressure to keep up with the pace of the internet-driven industry. Perhaps it's his steady income outside of music (how many emcees do you know with their own mobile phone service provider?) that alleviates the pressure on Boy Better Know figurehead JME, but whatever the reason, a large portion of his output is, well, pretty f*cking good.Read more
