Snapshot: New stills from 'The Hangover III' released | Film News

Another Monday morning, another Hangover, as Entertainment Weekly reveal some new stills from The Hangover III, the concluding part to Todd Phillipps' "you wouldn't start your night like this..." trilogy of films [note, the image above is from The Hangover II].

Whilst the pictures don't shed too much light on the (somewhat formulaic) madness to come, they reveal that most of the original cast, bar Mike Tyson (who is as yet unconfirmed) will be returning. Mr Chow (Ken Jeong) will be appearing in some sort of uniformed, sociopathic capacity, whilst the foursome of Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) will re-unite, like a more f***** up Beatles, to wreak havoc in a variety of locations, including Vegas.

The story: well, the official synopsis reads: "This time there's no wedding, no bachelor party. What could go wrong, right?"

The simple answer- Alan. According to Phillipps, "The Hangover III is Alan's story. He's going through a crisis after the death of his father...the Wolfpack is all he has". And it apparently becomes a very different kind of crisis when something from the first film comes back to haunt them.

Check out the new images below, and stay posted for more news on The Hangover III, which arrives in the US and the UK on May 24th, 2013.

John Legend - "Who Did That To You" | New Music

We recently heard Rick Ross' "100 Black Coffins", one of the tracks from the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained feature film, and, as you might have expected, it was big blast of murder music from MMG's main man.

Grammy Award-winning R&B artist John Legend takes it in a slightly different direction for "Who Did That To You", the latest track to be leaked from the OST. Whilst his lyrics continue the dark theme, "Who Did That To You" definitely sounds like the musical background for a new sort of American epic. For that reason, I'm not surprised to learn that it was co-written and produced by Paul Epworth, who helped lend the Bond franchise a stylish update with his composition for Adele's theme.

Legend himself was eager to be involved in Tarantino's project, which sees Jamie Foxx play the part of a former slave-turned-bounty hunter, trying to rescue his wife from the plantations. Speaking to the L.A. Times, Legend commented:

When I first learned that Quentin was making Django Unchained—a film set in the South two years before the Civil War—I felt a strong connection to the story. I knew that I wanted to compose a song for this film; a song that would not only give voice to Django, a man willing to stand up and fight for his lover’s honor, but also feel like a natural fit in a Tarantino film.”

The full soundtrack album will drop December 18th, with the film to follow on Christmas Day. Have a listen to "Who Did That To You" below:

Devin The Dude f/ Coughee Brothaz - "We Get High" | Music Video

Devin The Dude is one of those rappers who frequently gets put in the category of "stoner rappers", even though he's a much better songwriter and artist than that category suggests. Whilst this probably annoys some snotty-nosed music critics like me, the news that he's releasing a film entitled The Highway, with a soundtrack including songs like "We Get High," shows that Devin's quite happy to embrace the role of smoker's icon. Photos from set of 'RoboCop' remake released | Film News

The 80s may be over, but films from the decade live on. With remakes of 1982's Annie and '84's Red Dawn already in the can and a retooling of '87's Dirty Dancing being rumored, it's only natural that a classic from later in the decade also gets modernized.

To that end, director Jose Padilha has taken the reigns of the reincarnation of '87's RoboCop, which, of course, is about the near-killing and roboticized reincarnation of a cop named Alex Murphy.

ComingSoon.net recently released a couple flicks from the set of the new film, offering a glimpse of Murphy's updated, modernized robot suit. Read more
