Delilah - "Go" | New Music

You might recognise this young lady from Chase & Status' banger "Time", on which she provided the spine-tingling vocals. She's a solo artist in her own right, and the Balistiq-produced "Go" is taken from a forthcoming EP of the same name.

Great song, and a very tidy interpolation of Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody". Balistiq minimal beat is perfect for Delilah's controlled vocals. She's really milking the sexiness though. I really don't want to sound ungrateful, especially in these austere times when one-note AutoTuned robot women and histrionic hippie divas are the norm, but all the breathy singing is a bit much. With that said, Delilah is an absolute (deep, not panting) breath of fresh air amongst her peers. Look out for her.

Liam Bailey - "Blind Faith" Acoustic Performance [Video]

Liam Bailey, microphone, guitar, accompanied by cello would well silence a full room as his soulfully morose opening lyrics pour; I am a man with a heavy heart and I dare not turn the page / Writing with automatic self destruction... . Watch as the Nottingham soul singer performs his Chase & Status single "Blind Faith," which he co-wrote for their recent album No More Idols [read our review].

Liam's new four-track EP, It's Not The Same [featuring an acoustic version of "Blind Faith"] is out now.

Chase & Status x Liam Bailey perform "Blind Faith" live at Glastonbury 2011 [Video]

Still drawing on the masses of Glastonbury footage circling online, I love the euphoric dance aura as Nottingham soul singer Liam Bailey joined Brit bass commanding duo Chase & Status onstage at the festival this year to perform their collaborative No More Idols anthem, "Blind Faith" to the masses. I don't reaaally wish I was there, not being much of a mud and masses person, but if a tiny part of me, does the crowd emotion of this video might well be causing it.

See you at Wireless this weekend?

Chase & Status x Tinie Tempah - "Hitz" | Official Video

Production superduo Chase & Status link up with UK rapper of the moment Tinie Tempah aka the 1st UK rapper to go platinum in the United States for the official video for "Hitz" from Chase & Status' recently released album No More Idols. Watch the full video after the jump.

The original version of this song is one of my favourite cuts from the album alongside the Dizzee Rascal featuring "Heavy", but I can't really rock with the added chorus on the video version. Dope visuals though.

Chase & Status' album No More Idols is out now.
