Mystikal + ScHoolboy Q freestyle for Sway at SXSW [Video]

mystikal-schoolboy-q-sway-in-the-morning-freestyle

Sway is back with more artists in his travelling studio for some new freestyles from his trip to SXSW festival recently.

Last week we had the pleasure of hearing Kendrick Lamar and 3D Na'Tee spit for a few minutes, and this time around we get to hear the animated Mystikal and Black Hippy member Schoolboy Q.

Not even giving us time to sit back and relax, Mystikal goes straight for the jugular with an aggressive verse, making it hard for anyone to follow up and match his enthusiasm. Making it clear from the jump that he was nervous to go second, Schoolboy immediately starts stuttering over his words, but once the track was pulled back he composed his thoughts and came back with a few comical rhymes.

Watch below.

Ab-Soul - "Absolute Assassin Freestyle" | New Music

Recently we heard Black Hippy's real thinker Ab-Soul murder a Joey Bada$$ record, and in case anyone needed further proof of his genius on the mic, here's a dope freestyle he dropped for 2DopeBoyz and the Soul Assassins' freestyle sessions.

This time the underrated TDE artist sounds more self-assured than ever, sliding through nonchalant bars as he goes with his gut feeling over Worldwardrew's bouncy beat. His gut feeling is right. This is smart and simple from the "Absolute Assassin", and it's ready-made for the reload.
