Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV album release date pushed back to August 29th

After already being initially pushed back from a May 16th release to to June 21st, The Young Money president Lil Wayne's forthcoming ninth solo studio LP Tha Carter IV has now been pushed back further to an August 29th release date.
No reason has been given for the decision to push the release back by two months and this has come as a surprise to most as Weezy recently released the very catchy new single "How To Love" which although being different to what most fans expected has received quite a bit of love.

Bangladesh says he still has not been paid for Lil Wayne's “6 Foot, 7 Foot” [Video]

In an all to common story involving the Miami based Cash Money Records, producer Bangladesh, who has worked with the likes of LudacrisYoung GunzKesha and M.I.A., has revealed that once again, after previously not being reimbursed for his work on "A Milli", has now yet to receive payment for his production on the Lil' Wayne banger, “6 Foot, 7 Foot”.

Instead of charging Cash Money for the track, Bangladesh said he struck a deal in which Wayne would do a feature on the beatsmith's long-talked-about debut album. When asked why he hasn't put out the album yet, Bangladesh answered, "It's hard to do when I can't get Wayne features."

MTV First: Lil Wayne "6 Foot 7 Foot" Interview | TV Catch-Up

Lil Wayne recently debuted the video for his "6 Foot 7 Foot" smash hit on MTV First and whilst on the show, he had the chance to sit down with MTV host and presenter Sway Calloway to talk about a wide range of topics; from his work ethic and rumors of him never sleeping, to the first thing he appreciated from not being in prison and the first thing he did right after walking out of prison.

He also shared the lessons he has learnt from being in jail and the harsh realities of prison, as well as discussing his new "6 Foot 7 Foot" single featuring Cory Gunz and the video concept and treatment, breaking down some stand-out lines from the single for Sway.

Other topics covered in the interview included turning Young Money into a label powerhouse, like in the era of Def Jam and Bad Boy Records, as well as all but confirming that he would be responding to Jay-Z's alleged shots fired at Cash Money on "H.A.M," giving insight and confirming that his collaborative album with Drake is on the way and much more, some of which we already reported earlier in the week. Lil Wayne - "6 Foot 7 Foot" ft Cory Gunz | Video (Directed By Hype Williams)

Seems like the delayed first video from Lil Wayne's The Carter IV album has sprung a 'leak' and hit the net.
Take a peek at what I assume (hope) is an unfinished version of the video for the Bangladesh produced smash "6 Foot 7 Foot" featuring Cory Gunz.

Lil Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot' Video Premier Pushed Back

The release of the video for Lil Wayne's latest single '6 Foot 7 Foot' looks to have been delayed. The Hype Williams-directed video which was supposed to be premiered today is said to have been postponed so that Lil Wayne can add some finishing touches to the clip.

A few weeks ago, Lil Wayne took to his "fan appreciation" website - Weezy Thanx You to show off a couple of pictures from the video shoot which substantially added to the buzz surrounding the release of the video. This current "set-back" is certainly sure to infuse that fire.

The Bangladesh produced '6 Foot 7 Foot' is the lead single off of Lil Wayne's ninth studio album 'The Carter IV'.
