Def Jam Cipher Sessions: The Southern Editions [Videos]

Former G-Unit Records President and recently appointed Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Records, Sha Money XL came up with an idea gather unsigned up and coming Hip Hop MCs/artists on stage where they would not only perform their songs but also showcase their lyrical skill in a cipher, along side a current crop of Hip Hop artists that are starting to make a name for themselves in the music industry.

Titled Def Jam Sessions, the event kicked off with the ‘New York Edition’ back in October and featured Cory Gunz, Big Sean and CurT@!n$. Below check out footage from the second event, dubbed the ‘Southern Edition‘, that took place in November; filmed by Karmaloop TV.
