Alicia Keys set to direct breast cancer film, ‘Five,’ for Lifetime TV | Film News

Not content with being a fourteen time Grammy Award winner, actress, mother, philanthropist and recording her forthcoming album, Alicia Keys is set to dabble into film making, according to reports. Keys will be collaborating with Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Patty Jenkins to direct a new Sony Pictures production titled Five which will be airing on Lifetime TV next year.

The film is said to be an amalgamation of five short films that tell the story of the influence of breast cancer on people’s lives. A press release stated that the film will use: “…humor and drama to focus on the effect that breast cancer and its diagnosis have on relationships and the way women perceive themselves, while searching for strength, comfort, medical breakthroughs and, ultimately, a cure.”
