Young Guru discusses Jay Electronica LP [Video]

It’s fair to say that the internet goes nuts at even the mention of Jay Electronica‘s name, so when the full version of his “Dear Moleskine” circa ’09 track appeared a short while ago, people were twitching again in the wait for his debut album, Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn). We haven’t heard a peep from Jay himself since, but thankfully engineer/DJ to the Roc family Young Guru was on hand to shed some light on the hugely anticipated LP.

“All I can say to you is that everything you want, it will be that and more,” he expressed, doing nothing to curb the excitement for the album. He later detailed the particular methods of Jay Elechannukah, stating: “He has a very specific way that he wants to come out, and a very specific plan, and he’s probably more focused than any other artist that I’ve ever, ever worked with.”

Looks like our attempts to uncover the exact release date of Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn) have failed once again, but Guru concluded that Jay moves on his own time, so we’ve likely got more weeks/months/possibly even years before we’re graced with a full-length LP from the genius emcee.
